Born in Nice, this self-taught photographer decided to take up photography at the beginning of the 80s. A bold man, he soon went to Paris to present his work to a press agency, which kindly rejected him, but he was not discouraged.
His first successes were in Nice. He produced campaigns for leading advertising agencies, including Young§Rubicam, (Blanc Bleu, Diffazur, Malongo, Auchan... national campaign in 4X3m), as well as for the City Hall of Nice and the Chamber of Commerce, 4X3 campaigns including "Nice écoute la mer" and many others. He also built up a strong clientele for high-end swimwear catalogs thanks to his regular collaboration with LUI magazine for four years. At the same time, he developed his work as a fashion photographer (JIKI summer/winter haute couture collections) and ready-to-wear photographer.
But Brylak is driven by one of the most mysterious and interesting forces of all: the spirit of adventure. At the very end of the 80s, he moved to New York and once again offered his services to a press agency, Gamma Liaison, which this time agreed to send him to Miami as a correspondent. And so begins a new life. He reports not only from Florida, but from the four corners of the globe. Always on the lookout, one scoop followed another, landing him on the covers of the biggest French and international magazines: Paris Match, Forbes, Holla, CHI, Bunte.....He has become one of the "figures" of the business.
